Nelson Atkins Museum of Art - 2021

This simple open frame construction supported a pop-up exhibition in the great hall of the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art celebrating Día de los Muertos, the Day of the Dead.

As part of the tradition, and in keeping with the at that time ongoing pandemic, local elementary school students where invited to create paper memorial to significant people in there lives who had died in the last year. The exercise backfired somewhat when ~80% of the students made memorials to Kobe Bryant.
