There are Projects, and then there are Adventures! This one was definitely an Adventure.

The request was for a 18 foot tall model of the Eiffel Tower with a spinning light on top…

That had to go on the roof of a building,

Where we couldn’t use ladders during installation,

And is only accessible by a small passenger elevator,

And they needed ready in 2 weeks.

I love a good challenge!

Made from 1/4” Komatex and steel cable, this version of the Eiffel Tower broke down into 12 sections for transport, and could be installed by 2 people in 30 minutes without either of them needing to work at height.

A steel base frame and interior cables provided the strength to keep the structure in place during the unpredictable midwestern summer weather.

And the little spinning light at the top just made it even more AWESOME!
