This jig was an unusual request from a favorite client. They needed a modification of an existing design for a specialized hoisting jig that worked in spaces with minimal clearance.
Working from an existing design, we created a modified version that could be fabricated inexpensively using plasma cut steel plate.
As part of the process, we created half scale models of the jig as a design check and guide to hand off the the welder who did the final assembly
