Summerfest - 2021
This was a conceptual art photo experience for the Summerfest music festival in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Working with Daniel Goggin and Hypno NYC.
I designed and constructed these frames of translucent acrylic panels to create a transmissive light cavity that acted as a backdrop for a photobooth experience. I also imagine it looked really awesome if you were a music festival patron on the right drugs.
Due to staffing issues associated with the end of the pandemic I not only designed this project, but did 100% of all fabrication. Including the shipping crate. It was fun in the ‘I have pains in muscles i didn’t know i had’ kind of way.’ Each panel pair weighed +200 pounds, so this was the project where I learned to use the A to Z forklift!
